I have run the glasses through the dishwasher about 30 times and no broken stems out of the 12 I ordered. Just what we needed.
These glasses are pretty but the bases are not level so they wobble on the table. After a few glasses of wine, that can be a very dangerous thing. Also, it makes “swirling” the wine less enjoyable because you feel the clunk, clunk as different parts of the wine glass base make contact with the table.
These are wonderful, full size wine glasses! A really nice product for the price. And if you buy 3 boxes you get the fourth free!
This was by far the best deal on the web for these glasses. They arrived intact too. Their large size lets the wine breathe and gives a good presentation of all of it’s attributes. I’ve recommended them to all of my friends.
I was concerned when I placed my order for these glasses because of the reviews stating that they were “huge”. When they arrived, I found them to be just right. A regular pour will certainly not fill the glass, but that is the design. The stem is taller than a regular wine glass and the bowl is taller as well, but it is a very nice shape that reminds me of the larger, more dramatic wine glasses that you find in fine restaurants. The glass is not sheer, and does not have a sheer rim (there is a slight lip on the bowl), but I did not expect to receive glassware of such quality at this pricepoint. All-in-all, this is a pretty glass that is affordable and would be great if you are ordering multiple sets for a party as I did.
